Spotlights Dance Centre specialises in various dance styles, including Disco, Street, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Cheerleading, Latin American, Ballroom and Salsa. We teach all ages from three upwards and from beginners to professionals. Classes are run in Woodley and Wokingham.
The school has been established since 1997 and we try to maintain a fun and friendly atmosphere to learn dance in. The principal, Sonia Cable, has 20 years' teaching experience in various dance styles.
Our Exam results over the past year have been excellent and our adults classes have grown in numbers. We have also choreographed numerous wedding dances
We have performed at various events over the past year. On Sunday June 6th we performed Cheer Dance, Latin american and Rock 'n' Roll at the Dancia Day in Reading. March saw our annual show at the Holt School in Wokingham.
On Sunday 29th November th 25 of our cheerleaders walked in the Wokingham Winter Carnival. October 2009 29 girls from Spotlights Dance Centre performed three numbers at 'Her Majesty's Theatre, London. They were fantastic and I am so proud of them.
